Thank you for the pictures. They really help me picture the landscape and being a cartographer I always want to see more about the land. During session 3, I went back to my paternal grandfather and something to do with his brother(s). I have seen a pattern in my family line of the male siblings not getting along and have been working on it a little bit but nothing seems to have shifted. It was a surprise to me that this came up during our 3rd session in regards to my wanting to be more assertive in asking for support. And I find it very interesting that on the Tuesday evening before our class, my second oldest brother, David, called me to ask me to contact my third oldest brother, Mark, to ask him for help. David and Mark are not talking/seeing each other even though they live in the same town. This is all in regards to getting my younger brother, Toby, who has Down syndrome and now dementia, out of a nursing home because of needed physical therapy and back to his group home which is very loving. Emails went back and forth between family members, the group home and the State agency for extra funding on Wednesday and by Thursday the funding has been approved and Toby will be going back to his group home next week. Now I am wondering about this whole “time” thing. Things were working out before we went on our journey to the Tor and I believe that journey helped not only Toby’s situation but much more. I am hoping to feel/see more loosening up in the binds between siblings in my generation and future generations. I have set up an altar for my paternal grandfather’s generation. It is nice to have a holding space for them. Thank you
